Wow! Amazing Threaded Vaseline Opalescent Ruffled Antique Jam Jar with underplate.
I have seen a lot of things and this is one of the most beautiful. All my research is pointing to Boston Sandwich by Nicolas Lutz.
Mint condition from estate. Doesn’t get any better than this. Such fine thin glass. Literally glows without the black light even with gold undertones. Polished pontils.
Stands 2 1/2″ tall and the underplate is 4 1/4″ diameter.

Boston and Sandwich Glass Company was located in Sandwich, Mass., from 1826 to 1888. They made blown three-piece molds, free-blown and pressed glass. Nicolas Lutz was a master glass blower and designer who worked at Boston and Sandwich Glass Company from 1870 to 1888.
